Welcome to Allied Machinery.. This is the virtual home of Allied Machinery Ltd in Leeds. We are a small long established family owned machinery dealer, and known for a number of key items. We have sold, serviced and repaired new and used machinery - notably, but by no means exclusively - Planer Moulders - since the mid 1980s and we still trade mainly timber yard machines and products as our product section confirms. We have repaired and renewed spindles (we make new spindles) since the 1980s, and we are a dealer for NSK precision bearings for more than 25 years - we stock quite a few. We have a NEW patented range of expanding spindles (and conversions) for moulders and spindles. We have a full engineering machine shop and can make or repair most woodwork machine parts. Indeed we can and do, entirely rebuild or overhaul machinery - to ISO 9002 QM. We have many trading relationships with customers and suppliers, some spanning decades - and we have a special trading relationship with Kuang Yung or Primo Machinery in Taiwan. A large number of customers know us for spindle repairs. Another larger group know us as we have supplied feeders for spindle moulders, and literally thousands of feed wheels to both dealers and users, for spindle moulders and planer-moulders alike. Still more continue to trade with us, as dealers and users for machinery. The multi rips and straight line saws we offer from Taiwan are second to none. We still have good trade links with Canada and our principal is a Canadian. We are rarely the cheapest - we always try in all we do or supply, to give good quality and value in the trade. As a director in composing this, I can tell you I have been reminded of this many times, and because of the path we chose in quality and value, we necessarily loose some sales, because in quality engineering or machinery, the true value and quality is not always clearly visible or obvious, to an untrained eye. The business was formed by Michael Strother who is still Managing Director. Allied Machinery acknowledges the value and contribution of current employees, as well as past members of staff who have retired or moved on.
